Morse Engineering Company, Inc. is a civil engineering and land surveying firm that offers it’s Clients top-notch service, quality work ethic and attention to detail. Morse Engineering was founded in 2009 and is based in Scituate, MA. The staff of Morse Engineering consists of registered professional engineers, land surveyors and technicians that have a proven track record of producing work on time and on budget. We utlize the latest Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) software and state-of-the art robotic and GPS surveying equipment to produce highly accurate and precise survey measurements. Our design plans and permitting approach are second to none utilizing our highly regarded reputation among local officials and proven integrity in providing innovative design solutions for our Clients.

Morse Engineering & it’s employees are dedicated members to the community in which we live. Over the past several years we have donated time to several “Habitat for Humanity” projects and to the Charles River Conservancy and Dept. of Conservation & Recreation designing a stairway along the Charles River pathway.
Gregory J. Morse, P.E.
With over 10 years of experience in the engineering design and consulting industry, Mr. Morse has been involved with the design, permitting, construction and management of numerous residential, commercial and municipal projects throughout Massachusetts. He is a Registered Professional Engineer and holds various other registrations including: DEP Soils Evaluator, Septic Inspector, Underground Storage Tank Inspector (UST) and Construction Supervisor.
Mr. Morse’s engineering experiences include providing construction administration and resident engineering oversight for multi-million dollar sewer and drainage contracts in Cambridge and Gloucester, MA. His field experiences and construction background have played an integral role in his work as a project design engineer and project manager. He has successfully managed several residential and commercial projects coordinating and obtaining permits at the local and state level, preparing detailed drainage analysis reports, contract plans, specifications and presentations of projects to various permitting authorities. He has an extensive knowledge of on-site sewage disposal systems, the Massachusetts Stormwater Management Policy and Wetlands Protection Act. He excels at using the latest computer aided drafting and modeling software.
Mr. Morse is currently pursuing licensure as a professional land surveyor.

Jeffrey M. Hassett, P.E.
Mr. Hassett is a registered professional engineer and DEP certified soils evaluator. Mr. Hassett is an active project manager for both residential and commercial projects and participates at every level of his projects. When he is not in the office preparing design calculations and CAD drawings, he is in the field aiding the survey crew in data collection. Mr. Hassett has a comprehensive portfolio of projects including multi-family and single family residential designs, commercial, automotive, retail and industrial site designs, on-site septic system designs and permitting under the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and Subdivision Control Law.

Susan K. Pace, P.E.
Ms. Pace is a registered professional engineer and DEP certified soils evaluator. Ms. Pace has extensive experience serving as a project review engineer for various municipal boards and departments throughout Massachusetts. She has an in-depth knowledge of the Massachusetts Stormwater Management Standards and has also been involved with the design and construction oversight of several wastewater treatment plants in the 10,000 – 15,000 gallon/day size range.

Christopher R. Hartnett, Survey Chief
Mr. Hartnett serves as Morse Engineering’s Survey Chief and performs all of the companies field surveying services. Mr. Hartnett works closely with our registered Professional Land Surveyor associates on all types of projects including: Topographical and boundary survey, existing conditions survey, FEMA Flood Elevation survey, retracement surveying, plot plans and construction phase services (Stakeout and as-built work). Mr. Hartnett is equipped with a complete surveying van equipped with the latest surveying technologies and equipment.
